Kansas City-based artist James Woodfillʼs prints extend a history of works produced by software driven plotter systems, which Woodfill employed as a mechanized drawing tool by embracing the flaws and deviations from the programmed instructions. His prints should be seen as sections and plans for themselves, rather than speculations of future structures. Here the structure is the place built around and between the prints. The one sculpture included, Section (Hacked Lackey), a collaboration with el dorado inc, is now also a full scale model of itself.
